Sometimes given when its cold,
Sometimes found along the road,
Blades that lie beneath the skin,
Where to place the heavy load.
What am I?

Beneath the drowsy summer sun,
I spread my golden hair.
From dawn until the day is done,
I lie without a care.
My locks soon turn from gold to white.
And so depends my ease.
My hair comes loose and takes to flight.
Adrift upon the breeze.
What am I?

Raghav was riding a particularly frisky horse when suddenly its bridle came off.
As they raced down the road, a screaming Raghav clung to the horse's ears for dear life.
Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw a car coming and realizing the horse was completely out of control, he panicked.
Flailing his arms about, he accidentally caused the horse to come to an abrupt halt.
What could Raghav have done to make the horse stop?
