Aishwarya Rai walks into a bank to cash out her cheque.
By mistake the bank teller gives her dollar amount in change, and her cent amount in dollars.
On the way home she spends 5 cent, and then suddenly she notices that she has twice the amount of her cheque.

How much was her cheque amount ?

Assume x=dollars, y=cents of original check

converting everything into cents
(100x+y)*2=100y+x-5
199x = 98y -5

of
y=(199x+5)/98 and both should be the integer where y should be less then 100. which comes as x=31 and y=63

ie. answer is $31.63
