The Gabba
The Brisbane Cricket Ground is commonly known as The Gabba and is a major sports stadium in Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. First cricket match was held on the site on 19 December 1896, between Parliament and The Press (first class match). Actually till 1931 The Gabba shared first-class cricket matches with the Exhibition Ground and first Test match was played at Gabba was only in year 1931 between Australia and South Africa.
