Darren Sammy was the captain of West Indies in the 2007 World T20. He is a Saint Lucian cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies. He is a two time T20 World Cup winning captain. He plays as a right-handed batsman and a fast-medium bowler. On making his One Day International (ODI) debut against Bangladesh in 2004, Sammy became the first person from the island of St. Lucia to play international cricket.
