Roger Federer is a Swiss professional tennis player who is currently ranked world No. 3 in men's singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals. He has won 19 Grand Slam singles titles, the most in history for a male tennis player.

Roger Federer wanted to be a part of Switzerland military just like all Swiss male citizens. But due to long-standing back problem, he was announced unfit in 2003.

Roger Federer was gifted a milking cow when he won his first ever Wimbledon Grand Slam title. Federer named the cow as “Juliette”.           

On 11 April 2009, Roger married to former WTA player Mirka Vavrinec who used to play for Switzerland and got retirement in 2002 due to foot injury.

Federer has got 2 sets of twin girls and boys. Twin daughter Myla Rose and Charlene Riva born in 2009 and twin sons Leo and Lenny born in 2014.

Roger Federer became first living person of Swiss origin to feature on a Swiss Stamp in 2007. The Federer Swiss Stamp consist Roger lifting Wimbledon trophy.

Roger Federer holds the record of being world no. 1 player for consecutive 237 weeks. He has attained ATP number one ranking for 302 weeks.

He is the first tennis player who reached to 10 successive Grand Slam singles finals. Federer played a total of 26 Grand Slam finals till now.
