Brett Lee became the fourth bowler after India's Chetan Sharma (v New Zealand in 1987), Pakistani Saqlain Mushtaq (v Zimbabwe in 1999) and Sri Lanka's Chaminda Vaas (v Bangladesh in 2003) to claim a hat-trick in the WC. Incidentally, Lee's hat-trick was the 17th in LOI history
