Riyan Parag became the youngest batsman to score a fifty in the history of the Indian Premier League. Parag overtook his Rajasthan teammate Sanju Samson's record of youngest half centurion in the IPL. He was the leading run scorer for Assam in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy (248 runs in 7 matches).
