Sachin never got out on 99 in test match. However he got out on 99 thrice in one day matches.
Coincidentally all the event occured in 2007.
He got run out on 99 against South Africa in June 2007 @ Belfast. And in the same year he got caught on 99 against England in Aug 2007 at Bristol.He got caught again on 99 against Pakistan in Nov 2007 at Mohali.
Just to add another fact, Sachin got out on 93 in the same series against South Africa, 3 days after getting out in 99. Coincidently it happend again in Belfast.
