How MME selects HSS?

Question

Generally, MME communicates with the HSS with IMSI value, suppose if a network has multiple HSS database, how MME decide which HSS to select?

HSS are configured statically in MME its not a dynamic selection (also remember number of HSS are very few may be less then 10 in a country.)
So in short for each IMSI HSS is fixed for which MME has a configuration.

I also want to share my thoughts over this query.
If an operator has multiple HSS for its network. In that case MME should have configuration in such a way the by looking into UE IMSI, it figures out the relevant HSS out of all supported HSS.
