Does Code.org actually teach you a programming language?

Java is a purely Object Oriented programming language or not.......?
If Not
Then write a program without class & objects.......

No, but it teaches programming fundamentals and advance concepts very well. It is not necessary for kids. It teaches you about loop, algebra, variables, functions, develop simple games etc. Once you know programming fundamentals, it is not difficult to pick up a new programming language.
