Can't send message with Vodafone In,error 38

Question

Hi recently I bought a phone moto g4 and there is bug in android 6.1,whenever I send a message, toast "Can't send message with Vodafone In,error 38". I tried to resolve using several method *#*#4636*#*# and menu opened,updated the field but getting update error. how to fix this bug? # Attached Image of menu section where I tried to update message center number (Vodafone India).

Turn the phone off and on.
If you've just activated your sim then this can take up to 24 hours to fully complete.
Try the sim in another phone. If the sim doesn't work in this phone then order a replacement sim

thanks for your suggestion but Amit my phone is moto g4 with android version 6.0 and already i tried this method before posting it.(Sim is working with other phone and 6months old) and my question is "I am not able to set SMSC " and i tried to set but getting "update error". do you know any method to resolve this error?

I talked to technical support exe last night and they told me the same steps to go to SMSC update activity by dialing *#4636#*#* and  ( "+**********",145 ),I wrote this in box specified above in picture(without parenthesis) ,and after pressing update,It started to work.
