TDE is a Tableau Desktop File that contains a .tde extension
The extract can be published (whether in a viz or as a published data source) to Tableau Server or Online, or saved in a Tableau packaged workbook (TWBX) or packaged datasource (TDSX), or sent “naked” as a TDE file. Too slow.
