Hi sripathi,

Major entity is physical layer. If you increase the UE per TTI then PHY processing will be slow and it will lead to overload. Next entity is ENB scedhuler, Scheduler should be intellignet enough to handle the all UE's otherwise it will lead to starvation. RLC wont get afferct much but if it is AM mode then it will have overload of maintainig state machine. Most of the network will have limitation in PHY side so they will have fixed UE per TTI.

MAC notifies RLC of a transmission opportunity asking for data each TTI. So does RLC respond with multiple PDUs one for each UE (with different RLC SNs for each of the PDU). Or just sends down one PDU (with one RLC SN) having data of all the scheduled UEs?
This same question could be put this way too: Are the RLC SNs assigned independently for each UE or are they assigned by incrementing by 1 every TTI?

On what parameter basis, eNodeB changes its current transmission mode to different transmission mode for an UE ?
What parameters are considered to take decision on transmission mode ? Does the eNodeB inform to UE about the selected TM ?
