Hi sripathi,

Except C-RNTI and TPC-RNTI , all other RNTI should use transmit diversity. TPC-RNTI will use 3/3A and C-RNTI can use all of these DCI formats. All others will go in DCI 1x...

Hi jaganadh,

Can you please elaborate this please. Am having lot of confuse in which scenario which DCI should use. Please make it clear.
I hope you know which to select for CRNTI, this is based on your scheduling whether MIMO or MU-MIMO or Transmit diversity.

For broadcast message like paging , SI's,RA-RNTI you can use either 1A or 1C based on your choice, If you want to use minimum bits then you can go with 1C.

For M-RNTI DCi 1C we should use.

For TPC-RNTI we should use 3 or 3a. 3 is 2 bit power correction and 3a is 1 bit power correction.

DCI 4 is UL-MIMO..
Hi Jaganadh, thanks for your explanation ...

one more thing, how eNodeB conveys Transmission mode used to the UE. ??
Based on DCI formats UE will come to know....
