Hi sripathi,

It always uses DCI 1A to notify the PDCCH order..

Hi jaganathan,

DC! Format 1A is used to schedule resources for a random access response, paging message or system information then if it is for PDCCH order (it should adress with C-RNTI)... right???

If its adressed with c-rnti we can call it as  PDCCH order, otherwise DCI is for  pagging or system information ( yes or no ) ??

Is there any field in DCI information which denotes its for PDCCH order (i didnt found anything)?
Hi sripathi,

Yes it will use CRNTI as identifier for DCI1A, there is one field called allocate_prach_flag which will tell pdcch order procedure or not. Based on this flag UE will initiate RACH.
HI jaganathan, thanks alot.

Is allocate_prach_flag is implementation specific or any IE as per spec ?

I didnt found any such field in DCI1A...
Hi,

It is a menber of DCI 1A. Not implmentation specific.
HI,

Carrier Indicator, Forrnat 0 or Format 1A Flag, Localised/Distributed VRB Assignment Flag, Resource Block Allocation, Modulation and Coding Scheme, HARQ Process Number, New Data Indicator, Redundancy Version, TPC Command, Downlink Assignment Index, SRS Request

These fields only i can see in DCI-1A content, But am not able to see allocate_prach_flag ..
