No we have Home-HSS and Visitor-HSS to do the similar in LTE network.

Sir, can u plz tell me the working of Home -HSS and Visitor -HSS? Do they work same as HLR and VLR in roaming?
HSS came from IP i.e. IMS to the LTE system. Please refer the following links -

Home and visitor HSS concept is same is Home LR and Visitor LR. Here both are HSS only at logical level we call it a visitor HSS when subscriber is in foreign network.
