Android: How to aware that system has been upgraded by OTA?

Due to history reason, I have to check some values from /data each time when system has been upgraded by OTA. I've searched the whole framework but find nothing like a settings value or a property or some thing else which can notify the change.

So is there any way my code could be made aware when system is upgraded?

How to create a dialog box in my app that asks me to select a sim if the device has dual sim?

I am writing a messaging app in android studio. When I hit the send button it should show me the option to select a sim card if the device has dual sim. If not it should not show the dialog box and should select the default by its own. What should be used for this scenario?

Git: How to clear history of all repo url that has been accessed from local machine?

My company is upgrading the laptops and so, they're selling the old ones. The problem is, we've been using the old laptops to access remote git repos and the employer would like to clean all possible traces of repo URLs that have been accessed in these laptops. How do I do this? We used Git Bash and Conemu. Will uninstalling Git Bash and Conemu be enough to delete all repo URL history in the laptops? or are these repo URL never been saved to local disk in the first place?
