SYNC protocol is used in LTE network to deliver the same content to multiple recipients using IP multi-casting. SYNC protocol makes sure MBMS content will transmit over the radio from all cells of MBSFN Area at the same time so that UEs will receive the better quality of content.
3GPP 25.446 specification captures the details of SYNC protocol.

I came to know total six subframes of a radio frame can be used for MBSFN transmission. How UE come to know about exact number of sub frames that are being used in a radio frame ? Does the eNodeB send this information to UE or UE itself figure out ?

Assuming one case when UE was in LTE network and data transmission was ongoing. Due to incoming voice call, UE leaves LTE network and moves to legacy network to finish voice call. I want to know what will happen with ongoing data session in LTE network.
Does the LTE network deletes UE context ? Does the LTE network buffers UE data coming in downlink direction ? Or UE establishes voice as well as data session is legacy network and he continues voice and data services (less through due to legacy network speed) in case UE and legacy network both support DTM (Dual transmission mode) ?
