Can someone explain the Interworking of VoLTE with UMTS/GSM? Say UE is Attached to LTE and IMS Registered to Use VoLTE Services. And Now It wants to Initiate a Voice Call to the User who is in 3G/2G Network. How the Call will be established from signalling point of view?
1- Which messages gets exchanged between UE and network when enabling airplane mode in Idle/connected mode in LTE or UMTS? 2- Can we initiate Emergency call when in Airplane mode ?
I formula/ equations that will enable me calculate the capacity/throughput of GSM base station, UMTS base station and LTE eNodeB. If there are simulation software, can someone please kindly tell me how to get them and use them.
How the Network flow will be in this scenario? Just came up in my mind as I am not aware of this scenario, What would be the elements behavior and message exchanges in this case.
GSM (not sure about UMTS) has a concept of 4X3 frequency reuse concept, can someone please explain that.
