Few Recommendations are -
1. Programming Massively Parallel Processors, Second Edition: A Hands-on Approach (http://www.amazon.com/dp/**********/?tag=stackoverfl08-20)
2. Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell: Techniques for Multicore and Multithreaded Programming (http://www.amazon.com/Parallel-Concurrent-Programming-Haskell-Multithreaded/dp/**********/ref=zg_bs_3823_6)
3. Communication Complexity and Parallel Computing by Juraj Hromkovič.
4. https://developer.nvidia.com/get-started-parallel-computing (A very good tutorial)

Does anyone have an inside scoop on books that look at the detailed design and architecture of a recent version of the Linux kernel? Some that I have seen are rather dated - from early to mid 90's.

Some links to such "recent" books would be appreciated. Google is returning way too many links and very hard
to sift through.
