Why default IP is not present after attached to the 4G network in india?

IP is available only after enabling data then why LTE is called always connected ?

Hi,

Default IP will be removed as soon as you attach to the network, once you start network mode on then UE will get an IP and moves to RRC connected mode.initial attach UE will be in RRC IDLE mode always because if user is not doing any activity then there is no use to be in RRC connected mode.If UE and network supports VOLTE then UE will be in RRC connected mode and will have IP .,but this IP will not be visible to user because android GUI will display IP except IMS PDN IP(don't know why).
