What is Ideal and Non-Ideal backhaul in 5G?

5g is and edge thing, so ideal is to have it as close to Internet PoP as possible. Non-ideal is to transport traffic to a central location where it goes to Internet through co-located with central destination Pop.

Now and days, people are talking about various features that are going to be implemented in LTE network under the umbrella of 5G.
I heard so many terms but one term "content caching", I could not understand completely. I understood content caching at the networ edge can avoid network congestion for a popular content. I want to know, how it is going to be implemented for the LTE network ?
