What is the use of long truncated BSR in NR?

Is it mandatory to use same MCS with primary cell in LTE- NR case or can we do adaptive transmission in both the cells?

Hi,

When UE doesn't have enough grant top send Long BSR then UE will include long truncated BSR to notify ENB that UE tries to send long BSR but not enough grant, so that ENB will consider long truncated BSR as long BSR.
