Packet Forwarding Control Plane protocol runs over UDP. Similar to other standard protocols like GTPv2 and GTP-U, PFCP also uses 8805 as standard UDP port.

I have seen GTP control messages and found that F-TEID consists of an IP address and 32 bit long Tunnel Id. For example: Create Session Response message contains control plane F-TEID and user plane F-TEIDs. I have a question here, why not only TEIDs are included in Create Session Response message when IP address would be common ? or Does it mean control and user plane both F-TEIDs may have different IP address ?

Big vendors such as Cisco, Juniper and others have carrier grade EPC and deployed for many operators.
I am looking for open source EPC software with minimum feature.
I got one reference as below but not yet tried.

As per the description, it seems software is just a simulator.
