What is the practical difficulty in inter frequency measurement of LTE and NR?
Depends on UE capability, if has two RF transceiver , there is no need for "measurement gap" to do inter frequency (or inter rat) measurements.
why eNB sends rrc reconfiguration to connected UE when we add or modify inter frequency for SIB5 on eNB As i understand, UE reads SIB5 after reading paging in idle mode. Why RRC reconfig is required at this time ?
If rach response occurs in measurement gap can UE monitor the PDCCH?
UE will be in On duration after sending SR request to eNB but what if after SR if there is measurement gap falls? Will UE listens on PDCCH or UE moves to Measurement gap?
With NR - LTE dual connectivity , If UE wants to measure NR cell then will it require measurement gap or not?
If UE initiates emergency call during measurement gap which one gets priority and how it is handled?
