In NSA scenario , UE will be connected to LTE and NR cells. If LTE goes out of scope will it HO to NR or will it loose entire signal.

Hi Akhilesh,

In NSA architecture NR cannot act independently . All the signalling should process via Enb, if LTE goes out of range then there is no point in HO to NR because NR cannot take any signalling part for the UE. This possible in stand alone case with inter RAT HO.

Limitation : UL can be only in LTE, NR is NSA Dual connectivity with LTE but has to achieve full utilization of resource .
