I meant Can one PCRF with one RAR request can modify Default and Dedicated bearer ? If yes then what will happen if out of them one fails ? Do I have to send both modified parameters again?

In that case PGW will report the behavior to PCRF..it depends whether your are trying to update the APN-AMBR or trying to update any TFT on it...

  1. Let's say update of Dedicated bearer is failed...PGW will drop the bearer and should send Charging-Rule-Report with status of all the rules applied to that bearer as INACTIVE
  2. If modifcation of APN-AMBR is failed it will send APN-AMBR_MODIFICATION_FAILURE to PCRF with the APN-AMBR values retained by PGW

Is it possible to use Credit-Control-Failure-Handling AVP in Gx interface. If so, how?

My query is when PCEF sends a CCRequest to PCRF and PCRF does not reply anything, so in that case will that be possible to use Credit-Control-Failure-Handling(CCFH) avp.

Does this behavior allowed as per 3GPP Standards or its upto the customization of the product. Any reference are highly appreciable.

As per specification, PCRF has interface with SPR to get policy and charging rules for an user.
I want to know, whether implementation of this interface is operator dependent or not ? If answer is not then which specification contains the detail on Sp interface messages ?

Is it possible to block all Data traffic for a specific UE by sending Diameter-Rx AAR command to the PCRF?
If yes, can you indicate AVPs shall be present in the AAR?
May I suppose the following AVP list
- Subscription-Id Containing the targeted MSISDN/IMSI
- Framed-IP-Address or Framed-IPv6-Prefix (containing the IP-address allocated to the UE)
- Media-Component-description containing the following Sub AVP
- Media-Component-number Mandatory sub-AVP
- Flow-Status set to DISABLED
