most of the applications like real estate apps n android apps to be hosted onto the server..

Go for amazon without second thought here is why -
1. Amazon comes with 750 Hr per month free for one year which will suffice for all experiments.
2. Amazon Platform is scalable and safe.
3. In last one year we have not seen a single outage.
4. Amazon EC2 comes with scalable S1 cloud storage.

In last one year at QH we have never thought of changing the cloud service despite having free coupans from azure.

No, it will give you a virtual Linux or Windows environment. Rest is upto you how you want to use it, you can install any third party software or anything else....
