What are the services offered by GSM PLMN?

Hi All
Can anyone please give me the examples of wireless mobile networks ? Are MANETs, WSN, VANETS etc are examples of wireless mobile networks?

Also, does mobile networks means cellular phones we use or it can be any mobile network?

Kindly help asap.

GSM PLMN is the technology that enables communication among PSTN and mobile devices. It offers a number of services to their subscribers. Various services offered by GSM PLMN are classified under two categories. The first category is called telephony service (or teleservices), that facilitate subscribers to communicate with other subscribers using the telephonyservices. The second category of service is called data services (or bearer services) which provide the facility to transmit appropriate data signals to create an interface to the network. Bearer services give the subscriber the capacity required to transmit appropriate signals between user and the network. The teleservice provide subscriber with necessary capabilities to communicate with other subscribers. These two classes of services are called basic services. In addition to these two basic services the PLMN also supports other few supplementary services to subscriber.
