Missing AVP for the CCR request

Client is sending a CCR request with Vendor-specific-application-id[vendor id and Auth-application-id] instead of Auth-Apllication-Id. As per RFC its valid behavior.But server is sending CCA with DIAMETER_MISSING_AVP and Failed-AVP contains Auth-application-id.

Can you suggest me needed changes to accept CCR request with Vendor-specific-application-id.

As per my understanding of diameter protocol, CCR message carries Auth-Application Id with is a mandatory AVP. Diameter client needs to send Auth-Application-Id in CCR to diameter server otherwise server will throw an error. CCR is already defined by RFC and it's auth-application-id is 4. If client wants to send vendor-specific-authapplication id, it can add as an optional AVP.

Hello,

For the CCR (Initial Request), the CCA is of the above format in my internal testsetup. This seems like Dynamic Rule configuration. I am not sure whether we need to send info like "Flow information" or TFT in CCA. This was answered earlier by Peeyush ( that it is not needed). But wanted to crosscheck the same ?

How to determine max and min length for standard Diameter AVP and 3GPP AVP

I want some reference how to determine the max and min length for Standard Diameter AVPs and 3GPP Diameter AVPs based on Seagull dictionary which is open source. How I can determine max and min length for different data types let say UTF8 String, Octet String, Unsigned32,String,Address etc. Any reference highly appreciated.
