Based on the requirement of traffic handling priority, LTE having two kind of bearer:
1. Default Bearer
2. Dedicated Bearer

During initial attach to network, default bearer is established and based on QoS requirement of applications new dedicated bearer (GBR & Non-GBR) can be created on the top of default bearer.
All these dedicated bearer are attached to default bearer only.

When UE is asking for DL dedicated bearers (e.g QCI 6) , Is it mandatory that Enb has to configure the UL dedicated bearers with QCI 6 or it UL bearer is optional. If it is mandatory then if UE dont have any uplink transmission means that resource is waste. How to handle this scenario

Hi Folks,

I am trying to create multiple dedicated bearers for UE with same tft set. Is it possible to have same tft set for multple dedicated bearers.?

The reason for asking this is I am actually facing a problem while creating multiple dedicated beares. As soon as second dedicated bearer established for UE, UE is sending Bearer Resource Modification with cause (Regular Deactivation). Couldn't able to find why it is happening.!

Please provide some suggestions..

Thanks.
Naveen.
