Ayan Mukerji‘s next with Ranbir Kapoor seems to be an extremely intriguing project. There are rumours that it will now be on the lines of Deadpool and the movie will be a trilogy spanning over a period of 10 years. This information has played a big part in the casting of the heroine. According to a report on Open Magazine, Ayan and producer Karan Johar selected Alia Bhatt to play the heroine opposite Ranbir, not only because of the fresh pairing, but also due to the fact that Alia will still be relatively young, even after 7-8 years. Ayan is now busy working on the backstory of his superhero and has also been closely working with the VFX specialists to determine the viability of the project.
