"Our Baby"
Harlow died at the age of 26 on June 7, 1937 of kidney failure, and was buried at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA in a private room within the Great Mausoleum. She was buried in the gown she wore in Libeled Lady (1936), and in her hands she held a white gardenia and a note which actor William Powell had written: "Goodnight, my dearest darling." There was only a simple inscription on the crypt, "Our Baby."
