There is no such term atleast I dont know as "Father of Information Technology" however a similar terms called father of software industry in India is there who is credited to be F C Kohli due to his significant contribution in Indian IT industry. He was the founder and first CEO of Tata Consultancy Services, India’s largest software consultancy company
At international level we have such term called "Father of Information Technology" and American Mathematician Claude Elwood Shannon known as "Father of Information Technology". Claude Elwood Shannon is noted for having founded information theory with a landmark paper, A Mathematical Theory of Communication, that he published in 1948. He is perhaps equally well known for founding digital circuit design theory in 1937.
