Maurice Wilkins
Wilkins was born in New Zealand, and a New Zealand citizen, but was educated in Britain. He was a physicist and molecular biologist. Wilkins, Crick, and Watson, together with Rosamund Franklin, worked on the structure of DNA and the three men were awarded the 1962 Nobel Prize for establishing its double helix structure, specifically "for their discoveries concerning the molecular structure of nucleic acids and its significance for information transfer in living material".
