Pandit Heeralal Shastri was the first CM of Rajasthan
(1949 to 1951)
But the first democratically elected CM of Rajasthan was Tikaram Paliwal (1952 - 243 days)

Mohan Lal Sukhadia was the longest serving Chief Minister of Rajasthan. After securing majority in 2013 assembly election, Vasundhara Raje of the Bharatiya Janata Party is the incumbent Chief Minister.
