Afghanistan

The minaret, built in 1194 is 65m tall and solitary in an unpopulated mountain valley, its four tapering cylindrical shafts are constructed from fired bricks carry a Kufic inscription in turquoise tiles.

Some fact:
Minaret at a more than 3 degree tilt - despite a new supporting wall a combination of high floods in 2013 plus illegal excavations for archaeological artefacts nearby has left the minaret at a more than 3 degree tilt.
