World’s heaviest book “Buddha and his Dhamma”, weighing 2,000 kg was inaugurated in Agra. A book in English on the Buddha's life by Dr B R Ambedkar, which was translated into Hindi and etched into a stainless steel tome weighing a whopping 2,000 kg. The 24-page book has the whole text of the 400-page 'Buddha and His Dhamma' and inauguration was done during an event called Dhamma Kaarvan.
Dhamma Kaarvan is organized every year on March 18 to commemorate Ambedkar`s visit to Agra in 1956.
