Front to back along the top of the skull
The suture is a dense connective tissue joint between the two parietal bones. There are other similar joints in the skull, the suture from side to side along the top is the coronal suture. The joint down the front of the pubic bone (a joint made of hyaline cartilage and fibrocartilage) is the pubic symphysis. There is no suture down the nose.
