Trademark the name in the US
The refusal was based on the name's being offensive to Asians, following the Lanham Act, which prohibits any trademark that could "disparage ... or bring ... into contemp[t] or disrepute" any "persons, living or dead". The decision was overturned by a Federal Appeals Board in 2015 as violating free speech, and in 2017 the Supreme Court ruled the same way. The band members are all Asian-American.
