Greenland
Australia, because of its size, is regarded as a continent rather than an island. Greenland is 2,130,800 sq.km (822,700 sq.mi.); New Guinea, the second largest, is 785,753 sq.km (303,381 sq.mi.); Madagascar is 587,041 sq.km (226,658 sq.mi.).
