One of the singers died 8 months earlier
The performance was a duet, "Barcelona", sung by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé. Mercury died in November 1991. The duet had been recorded in 1987 as part of a collaboration between the two performers, and in anticipation of being considered for the Barcelona Olympics.
