He is co-founder of Akram Khan Company and an Associate Artist at Sadler's Wells Theatre and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London, and Curve Theatre in Leicester. His works include collaborations with National Ballet of China, the English National Ballet, actress Juliette Binoche, ballerina Sylvie Guillem, choreographers/dancers Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Israel Galván, singer Kylie Minogue, visual artists Anish Kapoor, Antony Gormley and Tim Yip, and composers Steve Reich, Nitin Sawhney, Jocelyn Pook and Ben Frost. He and his company danced as a section of the opening ceremony for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
