Edelweiss
Edelweiss are found naturally in rocky limestone places at about 1,800-3,000 m (5,900-9,800 ft) altitude. The small white flower is a symbol of alpine wilderness in Romania, Austria, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Switzerland and Italy. There are four species of edelweiss, native to alpine habitats in Europe, South America and the South Pacific.
