Ganges-Brahmputra-Padma delta is world largest delta, Ganges starts from Gangotri and travel through Uttarakhand, UP, Bihar and West-Bengal before meeting to Bay of Bengal and makes the largest delta of the world which stretches from the Hooghly River on the west to the Meghna River on the east.
It is also one of the most fertile regions in the world and also called as Green Delta hosting famous port cities Kolkata, Haldia, Mongla and Chittagong. Its is home of the largest mangrove forest called SundarVan and also have the highest density of Tiger (Royal Bengal Tiger).
