As Mohit pointed out
Number of Proton = Number of Electron (in normal condition) = Atomic number of atom

There are three main subatomic particles that form an atom are protons, neutrons, and electrons. The center of the atom is called the nucleus. Which contains Protons and Neutrons have have positive charge.

All protons are identical to each other, and all neutrons are identical to each other. Protons have a positive electrical charge while Neutrons have no electrical charge. Atom has same number of electrons as they have protons in order to stay electrically balanced and these electrons are not part of the nucleus rather these electron surround the nucleus and rotate around it.
