“A healthy mind resides in a healthy body”. For a healthy body, it is imperative to keep all vital organs in a sound and stable condition. Heart is one of them. With a regular exercise regime, enough sleep and keeping stress at bay, one is likely to reduce the risk of heart disease. However, what plays a crucial role is the diet in day to day life.

Here is the list of what not to eat to keep your heart happy!

1) Diet high on trans-fat - French fries, burgers, pizzas etc
2) Sugar and salt in excess - Carbonated drinks, potato wafers
3) Processed grains - Maida/ all purpose flour
4) Alcohol and smoking - Affects of which are widely spoken since ages!

Another important factor which impacts the health of human heart is high rate of stress so avoid the stress too.
