Every nucleus contains two kind of particles
Proton - positivel charge..balances negative charge of electrons
Neutron - it doesn't has any kind of charge. Neutron binds Proton in nucleus and moderates repulsive force between the protons
*both Proton and Neutron are known as nucleons
