Muslims pray daily and not only on Fridays (Probably every religion teaches its followers to prey all days). However Fridays Muslims gathers for special prayer (in Hindi its called Jumma Namaaz or Jumma Prayer). It is of great importance because it makes them come together like any other prayer i.e. Eid or Hajj also praying together carries very high importance in Islam.
On Friday prayer People listen to religious teaching from Imam followed by special Friday prayer.
