Prose is how we write naturally, expressing ideas as they emerge without having to abide by rules that indicate how the lines we write have to be, or the rate thereof. In prose, for example, phrases need not rhyme, writing prose does not have strict rules as in the case of the verse.
Verse is a written poetic composition taking into account the metric syllables and rhythm of sentences. In verse elements such as accents, pauses or similar-sounding words are used to create a narrative that rhymes. This is one of the most common forms of poetry that we can find, but its writing is not as free as prose, but the end result is equally beautiful.

Prose is to a common person as Verse is to a poet.
